We were very honoured today to receive a visit to our club grounds in Knockalisheen, by Minister for Sport Jack Chambers and his staff. They were accompanied on their visit by our own Cathal Crowe TD and TD for Clare Joe Carey.

The Minister took time to hear how we have developed our ground over the last 3 years and more importantly he heard about the pressing work we still need to do.

The Minister was very interested in our project and asked many questions on the club and the ground development plan. He was particularly pleased to hear about our girls team and the efforts going into that and our upcoming academy.

On behalf of all the club committee I would like to thank the Minister for his visit today and we look forward to close cooperation with his department over the coming months. Thanks to Joe Carey and especially to Cathal Crowe for arranging the visit today.
