Parkville Minis is the perfect first step into football for boys and girls aged 3 to 6.
We know it can be difficult to find suitable activities for children at this age. Our Minis programme provides a fun, friendly and pressure-free environment where children can run, play, make friends and begin developing a love for football.
No previous football experience is needed. Every child is welcome.

What Is Parkville Minis?
Parkville Minis introduces young children to football through simple games, movement activities and lots of encouragement.
At this age, the focus is not on competition or winning. Our aim is to ensure every child enjoys being active, develops confidence and leaves each session smiling.
Children will enjoy:
Fun football and movement games
Running, balancing and coordination activities
Simple ball-control exercises
Small, age-appropriate games
Making new friends
Building confidence
Learning to listen, share and play together
Plenty of encouragement and praise
What Should My Child Bring?
Children should bring:
Comfortable sportswear
Trainers or footwear suitable for an Astro surface
A clearly labelled bottle of water
Clothing suitable for the weather
Plenty of energy and a big smile
Does My Child Need Football Experience?
Not at all.
Parkville Minis is specifically designed as a welcoming introduction to football. Children can join regardless of whether they have ever kicked a football before.
Can We Try It Before Committing?
Yes. Parkville Minis costs only €2 per session and operates on a simple pay-as-you-go basis.
This allows families to bring their child along and see how they enjoy the sessions without paying a large registration fee.
From Minis to Our U7 Team
Parkville Minis is the beginning of the Parkville player pathway.
When children reach the age of six, they can progress to our U7 training programme based at Seanchoill in Corbally.
This provides children with a familiar and positive pathway from their first football experience into a Parkville team.
Serving Our Local Community
Parkville Minis welcomes families from Corbally, Parteen, Meelick and the surrounding Limerick communities.
Our goal is to make football affordable, accessible and enjoyable for every child.
